Setting your RDNS

For colocation customers


Log into your account at manage.vaultnetworks.com and on the left hand menu select View allocated IPs.

Find the IP allocation block you wish to edit and click the edit link for the corresponding block.

Within this new page, you can edit RDNS entries for each IP address in your block along with a brief description for your convenience. To remove an entry, simply leave the box blank or enter "None" in the field. Once you are happy with your changes, press the update button to save your changes.

You can verify your changes with the DNS Watch tool.

For dedicated server customers


Log into your account at manage.vaultnetworks.com. Select the connections. Other electronic devices may use different interfaces, such as HDMI connections on a TV or MIDI ports on a digital piano. The term "interface" may also refer to a user interface.

In the interface summary page you will be presented with a plethora of information about your interface. Under miscellaneous you will see an RDNS Settings marker. Click the link to edit those values.

You will be taken to a page that allows you to modify your RDNS entries. If you wish to remove an entry, simply leave the box blank or enter "None" in the field. Once you are happy with your changes, press the update button to save your changes.

You can verify your changes with the DNS Watch tool.

    I have a Plesk license for 100 domains. I have 10 IP addresses that I share for these 100 domains. How do I create an RDNS entry for each of the domain names that I host? The interface only allows one entry per unique IP address.
